Top light laptop
Lovely piece of kit - makes me very happy to go back to Windows. Not a big HDD (SDD ones don't seem to be...yet) but Windows makes it easy to use my NAS as a media storage drive. That said, pricey for a laptop of this spec and I expect prices to fall soon for similar machines. If I wasn't in a position where my marriage depended on getting a Windows machine I would have waited a few months.

Slim, Light and Good Looking
I need to buy an laptop urgently, and wanted an ultrabook. The choice isnt enormous at the moment and most of them are around the 1k mark, but I didnt want to pay that much. Clearly the macbook air and the zenbook are great looking and would probably be my first choice, but the S3 isnt far behind (and for a substantial amount less). This version isnt SSD, but it still starts quickly and has a big enough hard disk, looks great, is light and thin (perfect for work on the road which I needed) and you don't need a mortgage to buy one. I think it is getting replaced soon by the s5(?), but if you can pick one up at a good price then they are certainly worth a look.
