Motorola fire

My first android phone and I love it!! Does everything an android phone should and only gripe is the very short battery life even when not using internet, needs charging every other day.

Nifty budget QWERTY

I was looking for a Christmas gift for my brother. His previous (but very dated) phone had a QWERTY keyboard, which I knew he didn't want to live without. So I went for this after comparing with a few phones of similar form-factor. Based on my research I thought it would be quite a good phone, but was pleasantly surprised when he unwrapped it and started using it. It's a pretty capable Android beast: the screen is very responsive and good enough to play Angry Birds on; the processor is up to the job; and the keyboard is quite nice to type on. It feels a little cramped compared to my HTC Desire Z, but for the money this phone is very good indeed.
